Two five star (Scottish Tourist Board) self-catering cottages
Situated in a rural location in Glen Rosa, near Brodick on the Island of Arran, are these two five star (Scottish Tourist Board) self-catering cottages. The cottages are lovely places to stay, either for a short break or a longer holiday. Both cottages have been furnished in a way that is both comfortable and stylish and they are situated in a perfect location, which is one of the finest on the Island. Here in Glen Rosa you will find amazing scenery that is equal to the very best in Scotland and the chance to see rare flora and fauna such as the Golden Eagle. These self catering cottages offer the best in style and location.
Reaper Weary and Gran's Cottage are rare amongst the glut of Arran’s ever expanding self-catering portfolio. Both are stunningly located in the glorious Glen Rosa. Grans Cottage is almost 400 years old, a traditional crofter’s cottage where the local Wheelwright worked and lived. Reaper Weary is a converted steading that makes up part of the two hundred year old Glen Sherraig farmhouse. Both have been sympathetically renovated to a standard high enough to be deemed five stars by the Scottish Tourist Board.
